Maintaining Good Family Relationships - Day 7

This chapter I felt pushes you to pray for yourself and your relationships as much as for your children's relationships. Omartian pushes us to pray for the relationships within our family. Too often people think that because you are family you must be friends, but that does not always happen. So, as Christian parents we must pray for these strong relationships to happen between our children and the other members of our family. This is why I think we must also pray for our family relationships because we must model this behavior for our children also. The enemy likes to get in the middle of our relationships and cause them to fall apart or at least be fractured.

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. - Romans 15:5-6
