As Christian parents we must teach our children confession and repentance because we are all sin and to fully have God's love revealed to us we must not allow a wall of sin build between us. We need to pray that God will reveal, expose, or bring to light any hidden sin that has taken root into our children's heart to allow us to help confession and repentance to start from an early age. Confession is a way of clearing the slate of a sin and then repentance allows us to start over clean in God's eyes.
Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die? -Ezekiel 18:31
